How to use this section

This section contains guidelines and information relating to the legislative frameworks relevant to the use of recycled water in Australia. 

Guidelines usually formulated and published by government agencies and departments, that aim to streamline particular processes according best practice and evaluation of ongoing management practices, with the overall aim of protecting human health and the environment.. 

Guidelines for recycled water use are also developed by the states and territories, as they relate to appropriate water quality and risk management, depending upon ultimate end uses.

• Stormwater
• Managed aquifer recharge
• Drinking water
